Living in the Flow of Balance — The Lemniscate of Life
Balance isn’t something we find—it’s something we create moment by moment.Life continually invites us to flow between two worlds: our outer human world and our inner spiritual world.

The ancient symbol of the lemniscate—the infinity sign (∞)—beautifully illustrates this dance.Two flowing circles meet at the center, representing the continuous movement between our outer experiences and our inner being.When our energy flows freely through both, we live in harmony.When we get stuck in one, imbalance takes hold.
During pregnancy, motherhood, and all stages of life, it’s easy to get pulled into the outer loop—the doing, caring, planning, providing. We give so much to everyone else that our inner loop—the space of stillness, intuition, and spiritual connection—can quietly fade into the background.
The more we live in the outer loop alone, the more our body, mind, and spirit begin to feel drained. We may feel scattered, overwhelmed, or like we’re running on empty, trying to fill our cup from an already empty well.
But the beauty of the lemniscate is this: you can return to center at any time.Right in the middle where the loops meet—that’s your heart.That’s where you reconnect to peace, clarity, and your authentic self.
Here’s how to begin living from your center again:
🌸 1. Notice the FlowTake a quiet moment each day to ask: “Am I moving in the outer world or the inner one right now?” Both are needed, but balance comes from shifting between them with awareness.
🌸 2. Practice GratitudeGratitude brings your energy back toward the center of the lemniscate. Write down five things each day that light you up. Feel them in your heart—not just in your head.
🌸 3. Positive AffirmationsMorning and evening, speak words that align with your vision. Feel the truth of them. You’re reprogramming your nervous system to flow with love, confidence, and joy.
🌸 4. Breathe and RecenterWhenever you feel tense or overwhelmed, pause. Breathe in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth like you’re blowing through a straw.Three conscious breaths bring you right back to your heart—the meeting point of the lemniscate.
🌸 5. Take Aligned ActionFrom this calm center, ask yourself: “What small action could move me toward what I would love today?” Even one intentional step begins to shift your energy.
🌸 6. Revisit and RepeatYour nervous system learns through repetition. Keep visualizing and feeling the flow of your life in balance—the outer and inner worlds working together in harmony.
Remember, balance isn’t about perfection—it’s about flow.You are both the creator and the creation, the breath and the being.As you live consciously within the lemniscate of life, you teach your baby (and your future self) what it means to live in wholeness.
